Each part of the canvas belongs to a face of the head, body or limbs. Paint a little at a time and check the preview to understand where a pixel lands.
Change a jacket, boots or scarf without starting the whole design again.
Try a mark, stripe or eye color. At this scale, a few pixels can change the look.
The 3D preview helps you see how the flat texture wraps around the body.
Open a 64 × 64 PNG, or bring a skin across from the generator.
Download your starting skin before experimenting. Undo history belongs to the current editor session.
Use Save PNG to keep the edited file. The canvas is not an automatic cloud backup.
Open your 64×64 PNG and choose a brush color. Start with a small area, such as the front of a shirt, and rotate the preview to find the matching sides. Color changes on the flat canvas appear on the character preview.
For cleaner edges, work a few pixels at a time around the face, hands and cuffs. Undo lets you step back through recent strokes. This editor uses manual painting; it does not include an automatic fill tool.
The skin canvas is an unfolded texture. Different rectangles wrap around the front, back, top and sides of the player model. A mark that looks isolated on the canvas may sit directly beside another mark on the character.
Use a tiny test stroke and the 3D preview to identify an unfamiliar region, then undo it if needed. Keep the PNG at its original dimensions; resizing the image changes how the texture maps onto the model.
An existing skin is a useful base when you want to keep most of a character. Upload the PNG and change only the details that matter. The editor accepts 64×64 textures; legacy 64×32 and higher-resolution skins need conversion elsewhere first.
For a new character, create a starting skin with the AI tool and open its result in this editor. Generation and editing are separate: repainting an existing file does not deduct generation credits.
Export a copy before making large changes, then save the edited version under a different filename. The browser canvas and undo history are temporary; closing or refreshing the page is not a way to save the project.
Use the downloaded PNG when updating your game skin. Do not send a screenshot or convert the texture to JPEG, because those files can change colors, transparency and the layout needed for the skin.
We do not have verified player reviews to publish yet. Try this tool and note what worked, what looked wrong, and what you would change.
